According to Ekunola, information obtained by the NSCDC revealed that certain dishonest people were extorting money from unwary applications and candidates under the false pretense that they could ensure their eventual recruitment into the Service.
He said that there is no fee associated with the present recruitment exercise. “Therefore, at any moment during the recruitment process, no applicant is forced to make any payments to any persons or bank account.”
